1.  Write a report on a cultural function held to celebrate Rabindra Jayanti.          (Formal/Official Reports)
Ans.
   A cultural function to celebrate Rabindranath’s birthday :
    A grand cultural function was held in Barnia High School’s hall in Nadia on 8th May, 2017 on the occasion of Rabindranath’s birthday. The function was presided over  by the Headmaster of Barnia High School.
        The function began with a Rabindra Sangeet sung in chorus. This was followed by recitations of Rabindranath’s poems. The President recited Rabindranath’s English translation of one of his poems in ‘Gitanjali’. A little girl recited Rabindranath’s poem, ‘Prasna’. It was highly appreciated by the audience. The last item was the dramatic presentation of Rabindranath’s ‘Dakghar’. The boy who played the part of Amal  was Rabindranath’s  Amal indeed. His flawless conception of the character of Amal as well as Tagore’s subtleties of allegorical approach was in evidence in his acting. He charmed the audience by his superb acting which was reflected the true spirit of the play. The function came to an end with a closing song sung by three girls and two boys. The whole programme was ended with a grand success. It was appreciated by one and all.
2. Write a report on the death anniversary (22se Shravana) of Rabindranath Tagore in your School.

                                                CELEBRATION OF 22 SE SHRAVANA
Barnia, 9th Agust, 2017 :   Rabindranath Tagore’s 76th death anniversary was observed yesterday with full of dignity and honor at our school. At 7 a.m. a rally came out with his photo and placards of his different noble needs. The rally marched the main road of the village and reached to the statue of Tagore. There the dignitaries were presented there. A cultural programme was held there. After returning from there the programme was started in our school at 10 a.m. The programme was started with Rabindra Sangeet and garlanded the portrait of Tagore. The Headmaster and the secretary of our school delivered an impressive speech on the contribution of the world famous poet. Song, recitation, dance and debate were held in. A little boy recited Rabindranath’s poem, ‘Prasna’. . It was highly appreciated by the audience. The last item was the dramatic presentation of Rabindranath’s ‘Dakghar’. The boy who played the part of Amal  was Rabindranath’s  Amal indeed.  3.                    Observance Of World Environment Day
                                                            In R.K. Mission High School  

Birbhum, 6th June :  The welfare committee of R.K. Mission High School observed the world environment day on June 5,2017. All the teaching and non-teaching staff and the students in uniform participated in the programme. The programme started at 11 a.m. the headmaster presided over the programme. Dr. P.Das, the renowned Botanist, was the chief guest of the occasion. In his inaugural speech Dr. Das emphasized on the importance of tree planting and said that trees help all other forms of life including human beings to live a healthy life in pollution free atmosphere. Then the headmaster pointed the danger of environment pollution and global warming and stressed the tree plantation.
